She loved decorating her Beacon Hill apartment that she lived in for 20 years. Today, she’s having trouble concentrating and so she closed her novel with a thump. Then she curses, having had a headache for several days that she can’t get rid of. On the coffee table there are piles of bills that she hasen’t paid in months. Hence the headache.
Her dog Charlie cuddles beside her and rolls over for a stomach rub. Sadly, she’s her only true friend.
“Hey, boy, thanks for always being around.”
She stumbles out of bed, heads to the bathroom, takes two aspirins when the door bell rings. What happens next worsens the migraine.
A constable served her, she’s being evicted from her apartment.
