Halle Berry entered a new chapter of her style journey upon arrival at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on Monday. The Oscar-winning actress serves on the jury, led by Juliette Binoche, for this year’s film festival. For each high-profile event at the festival, the actress, in collaboration with stylist Maryam Malakpour, will style fresh attire — a task the actress previously described to WWD as “overwhelming.”
“It’s a bit overwhelming because it is the biggest world stage, and so there is a sense of ‘we have to get this right. We have to find things befitting of this moment and what this festival means to the world,’” Berry told WWD in an exclusive interview. “So it’s something that we’ve taken really seriously, and I’ve had a lot of fun doing it and wanting to make sure, because it is Cannes, that it stays chic and elevated and elegant. That’s what Cannes at least represents to me,” Berry said.
Ahead, WWD takes a closer look at Berry’s 2025 Cannes Film Festival looks so far.
