Country singer Jon Wolfe has earned his spurs as both a celebrated musician and a tequila brand founder, so when it comes to the Texas home where he hangs his cowboy hat, he’s made sure there’s room for all of his creative endeavors to mix together smoothly.
The 47-year-old singer-songwriter bought the three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, 3,500-square-foot New Braunfels residence that sits on a 1-acre lot in the fall of 2022.
Located in the Texas Hill Country of the Lone Star State, the new-build home was nearly complete when Wolfe and his wife, Amber Wolfe, pivoted from house hunting elsewhere to snag the spot and put their stamp on it.
Speaking to Realtor.com® to celebrate the Nov. 7 release of his new album, “Barstool Therapy (Session One),” Jon categorized his house style as modern traditional, though he quickly acknowledged Amber might beg to differ.
“What happens a lot in the Hill Country of Texas is it’s a mixture” of styles, explains Jon. “It’s interesting because you look at the kitchen and it’s traditional meets modern farmhouse.”
Jon and Amber are in tune with each other when it comes to the interior, approaching design duties like a duet.
“We work on that stuff together,” says Jon. “I’ve learned that I can give my wife, like, four options and as long as I’m relatively OK with all four, I’m going to land somewhere where I’m happy.”
Nowhere in the home is he happier than in his man cave.
