Leo DiCaprio Bought a Beverly Hills House – DIRT

“Don’t Look Up” now, but Leo DiCaprio is tweaking his extensive real estate portfolio yet again! Barely three months ago, the Oscar-winning actor — currently appearing with Jennifer Lawrence in a satiric film about a pair of astronomers who try to warn world leaders about an asteroid set to destroy Earth, due out on Netflix later this month — paid a cool $13.8 million for an oceanfront Malibu retreat, while simultaneously hoisting his home atop exclusive Carbon Beach onto the market for $10 million.

The 47-year-old “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star also owns a century-old English Tudor Revival home in Los Feliz, plus a Spanish Colonial-style mansion elsewhere in Los Feliz.

Now DiCaprio’s turning his attention toward Beverly Hills, where he just purchased a 1930s estate property for $9.9 million. Originally listed for $10.2 million, he scored a slight discount on the five-bedroom, six-bath spread, though the sale price is still far more than the $6.1 million the sellers paid for the place in 2016. But the house has since undergone a meticulously trendy restoration, replete with chevron and white oak floors, designer light fixtures and attractive steel-case doors offering up an ideal indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

Tucked away behind walls and gates, on a little over a quarter-acre of land in the Beverly Hills Flats, the traditional structure greets with a formal entry displaying a curved spiral staircase. Once inside, 5,000 square feet of living space is marked by a gray wood-paneled family room with built-in bookshelves, plus an open-concept entertainment area sporting a snazzy brass wet bar and doors that open to the backyard.

Other highlights include a gourmet kitchen outfitted with high-end stainless appliances, a beverage center and an eat-in island — all accented by black granite and white Carrara marble. Floor-to-ceiling French doors in the adjacent breakfast nook spill out to an al fresco dining terrace.

There are three upstairs…
