Beacon Hill condo broker visting his parents for Easter

I know my parents love it when I visit them in New York for Easter, especially my father.

Let me set up a scenario, which I can envision that will happen when I come home this weekend.

“Hey, look who’s here. John, how’s Boston?”

“Great dad, still love Boston”

“John, can you give me a hand with this?”

My father always has some heavy thing, he’s been wating to move since the last holiday (holyday). My younger brother, who lives down the street, can’t help him I’ll never undestand why.

“You got your end, John?”

“Yes dad”

“Your end has to come around…you got it?

“Yes”

“Do you need your mom to help you?”

My fathers advice is always the same. “this should be easy.” When moving something.

“Easy…easy.” 

What does that mean? “Easy, easy, easy?”

It’s not easy. it’s always very difficult.

“DIFFICULT … DIFFICULT … DIFFICULT

IMPOSSIBLE. IMPOSSIBLE.

PUT IT DOWN. PUT IT DOWN. PUT IT DOWN.

Lets be honest. You want easy?

Let’s leave it in the hallway.
