Beau Laughlin, Lindsey Gort’s List Lake Arrowhead …

Lake Arrowhead has no shortage of cozy cabins and woodsy retreats, but a freshly rehabbed home in the exclusive, guard-gated community of Rainbow Point is setting a different tone—one that blends contemporary, big-city polish with rugged mountain charm. Dani Rosenthal of Wheeler Steffen Sotheby’s International Realty holds the $3.5 million listing.

The creative minds behind the project? Hospitality entrepreneur Beau Laughlin—known for shaping stylish L.A. eateries like Sawyer, Kettle Black, and Pinky’s—and his wife, actress Lindsey Gort, whose credits include The Carrie Diaries and Lucifer. Laughlin also has a design-build company, Framework, founded back in 2018. Along with Gort, they have since made a name for themselves in the residential arena, and together, the design-savvy couple has transformed the 4,380-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom mountain house in Lake Arrowhead into a serene, high-style sanctuary.

“We wanted the home to feel elevated but grounded—to reflect the beauty of the lake without overpowering it,” says Laughlin. That vision plays out in the soaring 22-foot wood-beamed ceilings, dramatic angular windows, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and custom walnut millwork that nods to the surrounding forest. The kitchen is a showstopper with sage green cabinetry, Taj Mahal marble counters and backsplashes, a La Cornue range, and handcrafted lighting by Gallery L7 and Ravenhill Studio. A massive T-shaped island with curved corners centers the space, flanked by fluted glass cabinets and open walnut shelving.
