Canadian hockey player Connor McDavid and his girlfriend, Lauren Kyle, are getting a lot of attention after opening the doors to their ultra-modern Alberta mansion.
During an Architectural Digest tour of their home, located in the Edmonton neighborhood, viewers noticed the house was devoid of any color.
“After seeing Connor McDavid’s house I no longer wish to be rich,” one person wrote on Twitter. “If it means living in a monochromatic home with no personality, how the hell am I supposed to eat pizza rolls in that house?”
“Fantastic, it’s McDavid House Tour time again, when we continue to ask the question: what did colors do to offend these two?” another added.
The extravagant three-story house features several amenities including a basketball court and an expansive wine cellar.
“We live in Edmonton, Alberta, which for people [who] don’t know, that is a very cold place,” McDavid, 24, told Architectural Digest.
The couple began their quest to search for their perfect house after McDavid signed a nine-figure, eight-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers in 2017.
Situated in the upscale Parkview gated community, the home boasts panoramic views of the river valley.





In the basement, next to the bar lounge, they added a sports court, where McDavid spends most of his time rollerblading.
“Connor being the captain, we knew we were going to have to host a lot,” Kyle said. “This house feels like it’s definitely an entertainer’s home.”
