Less than two months after she put her all-white Malibu residence up for sale — following the purchase of an elegant new Austin home — award-winning actress Emma Stone has already handed the keys to her renovated midcentury ranch-style house directly overlooking Las Tunas Beach to a new owner.
Records indicate the buyer is David Cooley — longtime owner of The Abbey Food & Bar, one of the best-known establishments in West Hollywood — who forked over $4.4 million for the place, or nearly $1.2 million more than the “Cruella” and “La La Land” star paid for the unchanged property barely four years ago, back in May 2018.
Nestled on a two-parcel lot spanning 3.2 acres of steep and lushly landscaped hillside land that drops all the way down to the edge of Pacific Coast Highway, the single-level house was built in 1958 and has since been renovated.
