Fergie Sold Her Solvang Vineyard Retreat Near Sant…

This idyllic home in the charmingly quaint town of Solvang, Calif., is sure to have your “London Bridge” falling down! Custom-built by Fergie in 2013 as a collective retreat for her family, the estate “helped [Fergie’s] dad realize his dream of planting a vineyard and creating his own wine label,” per the listing, and provided a decade of fond memories for the music star and her loved ones.

Of course, all good things eventually come to an end. But if you were hoping to scoop up the hilltop paradise, you’re already out of luck — Fergie recently sold the 6-acre property for about $3.7 million. Records show the buyers are a non-famous couple from Phoenix.

Hidden away at the very end of a private cul-de-sac, the Mediterranean-style house stands tall behind gates and a long driveway. In addition to garage parking for four cars, there’s ample motorcourt space for several additional vehicles. Well-maintained landscaping frames the single-story structure, which is visually spruced up by intricate exterior stonework, and a big flight of stairs leads from the sunken driveway to the front door.

Inside, a proper foyer gives way to a living room centered around a stone fireplace. Servicing that living area is a kitchen with custom walnut cabinetry, a top-of-the-line Wolf range and convenient breakfast bar. Also on tap nearby are a temperature-controlled wine storage room, a powder room, butler’s pantry and a formal dining area. Stone flooring and dark brown ceiling beams add visual oomph, though the home’s bi-fold glass doors — and the stunning views they provide — deserve the most attention.

The house also offers four large bedrooms: a carpeted master retreat with panoramic views, a kitchenette and a sizable bathroom, plus two additional ensuite family bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is located in a different wing of the house, tucked behind the kitchen and laundry room, and thus would make an ideal housekeeper or guest room.
