Between the two of them, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have quite the impressive international reach. Both are revered in their respective industries and, as such, are frequently globe-trotting, whether it be for her to film Nine Perfect Strangers in her native Australia or for him to perform at the Country Music Television awards in Nashville. It makes sense, then, that their real estate portfolio encompasses properties in New York City, Beverly Hills, Nashville, and several cities in Australia.

The couple got married in 2006 in Australia and began their venture into real estate shortly afterward. The Northman star explained to Harper’s Bazaar that the pair prefers their home life to be comfortable and private, which has likely factored into their real estate decisions. “Obviously, I work hard, but when I’m off, I’m off,” Kidman told the publication in 2018. “Keith and I are very good at immediately clicking off because we have a really good life in Nashville that’s very simple, quiet, and nourishing because we’ve made it like that.” Below is a glimpse into some of the places the couple calls home.

Just one year after they wed, Kidman and Urban shelled out $2.45 million for their first home together, a 36-acre country spread in Franklin, Tennessee, about 25 miles south of downtown Nashville. The property was immensely private, with a long drive through wooded terrain leading up to the red-brick main house and separate guest cottage. The main house measured 5,086 square feet and featured four bedrooms and four full and two half bathrooms, with immense windows and skylights throughout. Highlights included a main bedroom suite with its own private sitting room, a stone-tile bathroom with a garden tub, and a massive walk-in closet. They listed the home in 2016 and finally found a buyer two years later, for $2.7 million.
