Revere celebrates Grand Opening of Amaya at Suffolk Downs
The grand opening of Amaya at Suffolk Downs marked a major milestone in the redevelopment project. Leaders from HYM Investment Group, National Real Estate Advisors, Cathexis, and the City of Revere came together to celebrate Amaya, the first residential building completed at Suffolk Downs. With 475 luxury units and 24,000 square feet of ground-level retail, Amaya introduces an elevated living experience to Revere’s Beachmont Square.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, local officials, including Mayor Patrick M. Keefe, Jr., and Ward One City Councilor Joanne McKenna, shared remarks. Guests enjoyed a lively cultural performance by the Veronica Robles Cultural Center’s all-female mariachi band, catering from La Hacienda, and craft brews by Twisted Fate Brewing, Amaya’s first retail tenant.
Located beside the Beachmont MBTA Blue Line, the Amaya Revere luxury apartments are ideal for commuters with easy access to Downtown Boston and Logan Airport. Managed by Bozzuto, the building offers residents a fitness center, two courtyards with a pool, grilling areas, pet-friendly spaces, and an in-building parking garage. As the first of 10,000 planned units, Amaya sets a high standard for this evolving neighborhood.

SORA: Up Next in Revere Luxury Apartments
With Amaya setting the stage for the Suffolk Downs redevelopment, another exciting addition is on the horizon for Revere—SORA, a luxury apartment community located just minutes from Suffolk Downs at 93 Bennington Street. Slated for completion in early 2025, SORA offers 114 thoughtfully designed Revere luxury apartment units that blend the vitality of city life with the calm of natural surroundings.
This new development by Helge Capital places residents at the intersection of urban energy and tranquil scenery, with close proximity to Revere Beach, Belle Isle Marsh, and convenient transit access through the Beachmont MBTA station.
