The Golden Vines® is no ordinary fine wine event. In fact, it’s no ordinary event.
Anyone attending the previous four editions will tell you it’s the World’s Best Event – although if you don’t like fine wine, rare spirit, Michelin-star food or incredible entertainment, it’s probably not for you. The fact that the event centres around recognising the world’s best fine wine and rare spirit estates, while raising money for the Gérard Basset Foundation (the only charity that raises funds for the wine, spirit and hospitality industry globally) only adds to the feel good atmosphere at the event. Where else can you find at least fifty of the world’s best winemakers in one place, mingling with A-list stars and lovers of hedonistic vinous and culinary pleasures, in the most spectacular of international venues?
In 2021, the Golden Vines® launched at Annabel’s Private Members Club in Mayfair, London, where three-Michelin-starred chef, Mauro Colagreco of Mirazur served up his most famed dishes paired with the likes of Dom Pérignon P2, Egon Müller, Domaine de la Romanée Conti and Château d’Yquem, while guests were dancing in the aisles to a live performance from iconic performer, Kylie Minogue.

In 2022, the three-day event climaxed with American-British singer Celeste taking the stage at the incredible Palazzo Vecchio, as Massimo Bottura, one of the world’s most celebrated chefs, paired his food with Château Cheval Blanc and a host of other top wines.
By 2023, the Golden Vines® had come to Paris, with Alain Ducasse preparing a sumptuous menu alongside highlights like Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux’s Echézeaux Grand Cru and, the world’s most expensive wine, Liber Pater, at the flamboyant Opéra Garnier.
In 2024, Madrid was the host city, as Spanish political dignitaries…
