The next friendly neighborhood Spider-Man can be, well, you.
The suit worn by Tobey Maguire throughout his web-slinging adventures in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 is headed to the auction block this September. Peter Parker’s famed red-and-blue getup, the first film-used suit donned by Maguire to be offered up via Propstore, is a rather rare collector’s item, and pre-sales estimates have it hammering down for anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000.
Maguire’s garb is believed to have been heavily used while filming both movies, whether the actor’s Spider-Man was battling Sandman or the New Goblin. Frontline Design, aided by Academy Award-winning costumer designer James Acheson, was tapped to bring the creation to life. As such, the iteration Maguire donned in Spider-Man 2 is different from the earlier film: This time around, the suit has a darker blue fabric, bigger eyes, and a larger chest moniker, among other details. Made of a gray foam latex and a red latex, the costume also has an gusseted interior lining and zippers hidden along its sides and lower back.

Plenty of other top lots from iconic films are going under the hammer at the event, too, which is estimated to garner $10 million in sales thanks to its over 1,000 lots of cinematic memorabilia. One lucky Star Wars fan will be able to snag the piece of a lifetime; Darth Vader’s lightsaber, seen in climactic battles in both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Judi, will be up for grabs, expected to fetch a whopping $1 million to $3 million. Michael Keaton’s Batsuit from the 1989 Batman flick is also on the block, set to fetch somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000.
