Charlotte Gainsbourg’s former NYC home lists for r…

This penthouse loft once rented by Charlotte Gainsbourg — the actor and singer/songwriter whose mother, Jane Birkin, inspired Hermès’ iconic Birkin bag — has listed for $23,500 per month.

Located in Manhattan’s celeb-heavy Tribeca, at 55 N. Moore St., Gainsbourg lived here from 2015 to 2017.

During this period, the 2016 movie “Independence Day: Resurgence” was in post-production and then released. In it, Gainsbourg played Dr. Catherine Marceaux alongside Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman.

(Separately, and before her time in this unit, Gainsbourg also appeared in the dark 2003 film “21 Grams,” with Sean Penn, Naomi Watts, and Benicio del Toro.)

Gainsbourg was the most recent tenant of the 3,600-square-foot spread. The home’s owners themselves lived in the home afterwards, before recently placing it back on the market for rent.

Beyond Jane Birkin, a singer and actress herself, Gainsbourg is also the daughter of the late French musician Serge Gainsbourg, who is still referred to as France’s answer to David Bowie.
